DOWNTHRUST BACKSTOPS
FEATURES: These backstops retract slightly back and downward as clamping force is applied, exerting downthrust force on the workpiece. Serrated jaw for secure gripping. Use when precise horizontal location is not required. Replacement jaw inserts are available.
SIZES: Available for Standard (1/2") and Heavy (5/8") modular systems.
MOUNTING: Fasten with Socket-Head Cap Screws (four for Standard size, two for Heavy size, order separately).
MATERIAL: Body > Gray cast iron, ASTM class 40, black oxide finish. Jaw > 1045 steel, heat treated Rc 40-45, black oxide finish.
