Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI adds 2 new calibration quality Load Cell Indicators to their 4215 Smart Indicator Series: Model 4215A-104 Single Channel Unit and 4215A-204 Dual Channel Unit.
The Model 4215 is an intelligent microprocessor based instrument designed for measurement and control of strain gauge transducer based systems. Features include bipolar range +/- 999,999 display with 24-bit resolution, nonlinearity of 0.005%, TEDS-Tag Auto Load Cell ID and setup for 25 load cells. With four contact closure Limit switches, the user can select which signal drives the limit (load, peak, valley, position, or velocity), normally open/normally closed, set point, and manual reset (latched) or automatic reset (not latched)
Model 4215 combines force channels, encoder position channels, print capabilities, and RS-232/485 serial communications into a versatile platform. This Smart Load Cell Indicator is compatible with most tensile testers, load cells, extensometers, torque transducers, pressure sensors and position encoders.
