| May 1, 2009 — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Secure Switching System for Video Conference Rooms. This rackmounted system facilitates passing the connection of various voice & data lines, both copper and fiber media, from a designated set of equipment to an existing building network, or disconnects the same set of lines from the building network, isolating all equipment in the designated room or area.
The Secure Switching System includes a Secure/NonSecure Indicator Unit, a Fiber Optic SC Data Pass/Off-Line Switch, a 16-Channel Ethernet Data Pass/Off-Line Switch, a 16-Channel Telco Data Pass/Off-Line Switch and a 6-Channel ISDN Data Pass/Off-Line Switch. All systems are switched via a front panel keylock actuator. Room-side and building network/remote modular ports are labeled and color-coded. Fiber Optic Multimode Duplex SC ports are also labeled. Status IN/OUT connectors send Secure/Non-Secure information to the Indicator Unit. Below is the link for our webpage to the unit: http://www.electrostandards.com/ProductDetail/?productid=110
