| Jun 10, 2008 — Fixtureworks® (Fraser, MI), a leading North American manufacturer and supplier of workholding technologies and machine tool components, offers the full line of NOVO-GRIP® Clamp Grips from Kipp® - an established German manufacturer of manual operating elements. The five-lobed grip handle provides superior design ergonomics that establish secure manual tightening without separate tools or wrenches, etc., required. As part of the NOVO-GRIP products, the grips share an aesthetic and innovative design that is sustained throughout the range of products - including indexing plungers, knurled and mushroom knobs, ball and wing grips, handwheels and positioning wheels along with crank handles and pull handles. The consistent design elements help preserve a continuous overall appearance, no matter the application requirement, for virtually any project or application. The Clamp Grips are currently available in 80 different configurations from Fixtureworks for a variety of application options, including size across lobes, male stud or female-tapped bushings, choice of inch or metric threads, steel or stainless steel thread components, and four color selections—dark or light gray, yellow and red, ideal for identifying placement, application or operational sequence. Knobs are produced using tough thermoplastics, while the steel components are provided with a blue chromate finish; stainless steel parts are natural. Grips featuring female threads are offered in handle sizes from 50mm thru 63mm and with threads from 5/16-18 to 5/8-11 while metrics with same handle diameters have M8 x 1.25 to M16 x 2.0. Tapped bushing depths range from 14mm to 18mm Male threaded grips are available in 3/8-16 thru 1/2-13 or M10 x 1.5 to M12 x 1.75 metric thread sizes, with handle sizes from 50mm to 63 mm. Stud lengths start at 15mm and up to 60mm. For all styles of grips, actual height of the handle ranges from 34.8mm-44mm.
