| | Feb 17, 2010 — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced the unique Model 8447 6-Channel A/B Switch which has 2 channels with RJ45 Cat5e Connectors and 4 Channels with MIL-STD-1553B Concentric Twinaxial Connectors. This robust data switch allows the user to share one device among 2 others for each of its 6 channels.
The switch ports of the M8447 are transparent to all data. All channels of this unit are conveniently switched simultaneously using the manual pushbutton located on the front panel. When power is lost, the unit reverts to the A position for all channels and upon power restoration, the M8447 will automatically switch to last known position.
