| | Jan 14, 2010 — Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, has just added MTP/MPO 12-Fiber Fanout Cables to its line of fiber optic network cables. MTP/MPO fanout cables feature 12-Fiber Plug and Play functionality. The MTP/MPO connector allows for quick connection of 12 fibers. MTP/MPO fan-out cable assemblies feature 12 times the density of SC connectors. Electro Standards has invested in the equiment and the personnel training required to properly factory terminate and test all of these MTP/MPO 12-fiber cables.
MTP/MPO Fiber Optic Fanout Cables save duct space and installation time. The push/pull mating allows for quick installation time. These cables are available in both single mode and multimode. Electro Standards also provides the Quick-connect cassettes required for easy termination. With MTP/MPO 12-Fiber Fanout Cables, multiple fiber installation has never been easier.
Electro Standards offers MTP/MPO fanout cables in both standard and custom configurations. Simplex and duplex are available with micron sizes of 62.5/125 or 50/125 microns. SC, ST, and LC connectors are readily installed.
Electro Standards Laboratories manufactures snap-in cassettes to provide quick installation of the MTP/MPO Fiber Networks. The cassettes break-out multi-fiber MTP/MPO cable inputs into standard SC, LC or ST connectors. The Model 6006 cassette takes one 12-fiber MTP/MPO input and breaks out to 12 SC outputs (12 Simplex or 6 Duplex). The Model 6012 cassette takes two 12-Fiber MTP/MPO inputs and breaks-out to 24 LC outputs (24 Simplex or 12 Duplex). The Model 6008 cassette takes one 8-Fiber MTP/MPO input and breaks out to 8 ST outputs. The Model 6008 Fiber Optic Cassette features Military Connectors and breaks out (1) MTP 8-Strand fiber cable into (8) ST Military Style connectors. These cassettes fit perfectly in the Model 3294, Rackmount Fiber Patch Enclosure that holds up to 3 cassettes.
