Eriez’ E-Z Slide™ Horizontal Motion Conveyor features a smooth, positive-sliding action to shuffle products along without breakage and without disturbing coatings on coated parts. In plastics processing applications, noise is greatly reduced because parts gently slide along the tray bottom. E-Z Slide HMC Conveyors are low maintenance, self-cleaning and available in a variety of tray shapes, widths and lengths. Drop gate discharge mechanisms can be provided along the length of the tray to allow materials to be deposited onto other conveyors or feeders.
VMC Electromagnetic Conveyors are rugged, high capacity units available with standard tray sizes ranging from 18 to 48-inches (457 to 1219mm) wide by 5 to 20-feet (1.5 to 6m) long. Depending on the intended use, tray liners of abrasion-resistant steel, stainless steel, polyethylene, rubber and other materials are available. VMC Conveyors may also be supplied with an Eriez Metalarm VC Metal Detector integral with the vibrating tray, allowing product transport and metal contaminant protection in one compact unit.
HVC Conveyors are available with V-shaped or completely enclosed troughs, as well as with screening decks and a variety of liners. These conveyors are usually base mounted, but can also be suspended from overhead supports. A standard three-phase motor is belt-connected to a variable pitch sheave, factory set at between 900 and 1,000 rpm, depending upon the length of the conveyor.
