| Jan 16, 2013 — The Model 8036 E1 TX/RX BNC A/B Switch from Electro Standards Laboratories allows the user to simultaneously switch all four E1 channels to four E1 devices connected to the A port or four E1 devices connected to the B port via a simple turn of a knob. The E1 communications interface using two BNC coaxial connections (TX and RX) is typically an unbalanced interface over 75 Ohm coaxial cables. This manually operated switch requires power for convenient LED’s on front panel to display and verify switch “A” or “B” position.
The Model 8036 saves wear and tear on equipment by eliminating the need to plug and unplug cables. Plugging and unplugging cables can cause stress on equipment and over time damage the hardware. This BNC Switch can also provide critical downtime support by simultaneously switching all devices over to a separate network.
This TX/RX BNC Switch incorporates a high quality sealed switch with self-wiping low impedance contacts. The unit switches both the shield and center conductor of the coaxial interface and is packaged in an attractive anodized black box, providing EMI/RFI shielding. The Model 8036 is made in the USA and carries a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. Custom length BNC cables are available in any length to support switch installation.
