| Nov 13, 2013 — Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, announces the new Model 9445 five-channel DB9 A/B switch. The Model 9445 is configured in a slim rack-mount design that utilizes computer room rack space efficiently. The dimensions are 19.0” W x 1.75” H x 8.0” D (48.3 x 4.4 x 20.3 cm). This switch weighs approximately 3.0 lbs (1.36 kg).
The Model 9445 allows the IT Manager to access, for each channel, two DB9 interface devices connected to its A and B ports with one DB9 device connected to its COMMON port. The five channels are switched independently via the five rotary knobs located on the front panel.
The Model 9445 is built to last. The internal components include a high-quality sealed switch with self-wiping low impedance contacts. The unit is enclosed in an attractive anodized black box packaging that provides EMI/RFI shielding.
