| Nov 14, 2012 — New Hyde Park NY -- A new series of flexible-geargrip couplings from Advanced Antivibration Components (AAC) are designed to dampen shock and vibration and are electrically isolated. The center of these couplings, identified as the V5Z1-... (complete) and V5D1-... (hub only) and V5R... (Sleeve only) Series, are made from neoprene with ground O.D. The hubs are made of zinc alloy die casting. They are featured at the AAC eStore where you can order online, request a quote, download CAD models, check stock plus view catalog and technical pages.
They are designed to fit 7 shaft diameters which range from .125" (3.18 mm) up to .500 (12.7 mm). These couplings are stocked in 4 overall lengths ranging from 1" (25.4 mm) to 2-3/8" (60.3 mm). They do not require any lubrication and have an operating temperature range of -20°F to +71°F (-29°C to +22°C).
