Noise monitoring updates keep Noise Sentinel on top

| Jan 20, 2016 — Brüel & Kjær today announced new enhancements to Noise Sentinel and Noise Sentinel – On Demand. The web-based services provide 24/7 unattended environmental monitoring in urban and industrial areas to help maximize business opportunities and minimize community impact. Building on existing innovative features, the updates simplify noise management by delivering: • More accurate assessment of noise compliance • Improved reporting and reduced workload with enriched alerting • Enhanced automated post-processing functions • Increased industry standards support A new 'Disregard' function decreases the workload of compliance management, reducing the amount of tasks by enabling users to mark alerts caused by irrelevant noise sources. Disregarded alerts are easily excluded from reports and post-processing activities to create a clear picture of the actual operational impact. Reporting is more flexible with CSV format now possible for output files, permitting the automation of specific post-processing and reporting tasks using Noise Sentinel data.
