| | Nov 10, 2011 — CONCORDVILLE, PA — The new Southco® EA-A01 series electrical junction box simplifies wiring for up to two electronic access systems by providing a centralized power point and switching center for component and electrical wiring.
The junction box provides a convenient interconnect point for the access control device, electromechanical latch, and system power wiring in an electronic access control system. It accommodates up to two electromechanical latches and access control devices, and the box’s switches enable flexible combinations between components. The box delivers optimum access to cable connectors and can be used with any combination of Southco access controls and latches.
“The EA Junction Box is ideal for data center racks and server enclosures, and it consolidates wire routing in electronic access solutions with great efficiency,” says Steve Spatig, project manager at Southco. “The box features labeled connections for easy installation and incorporates electronic access at the rack level with minimal cabinet modification.”
The EA-A01 series electrical junction box is RoHS-compliant and uses standard 12-24 V operating voltage.
