| Apr 4, 2011 — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces its new Model 7284 Multi-Peripheral A/B Sharing Switch, PS/2 Mouse, PS/2 Keyboard, and USB Combination Interface with Remote Contact Control. The switch can be manually controlled via a front panel toggle switch or remotely controlled via the screw terminal Remote port on the rear panel. The Model 7284 switches mouse, keyboard and USB ports simultaneously. Each channel, A, B, and COMMON, contains a PS/2 Mouse port, a PS/2 Keyboard port, and a USB port. The switch ports are transparent to all data. All pins of the connectors for each channel are switched. This switch is a powerful and versatile tool to manage switching requirements.
