TOTAL PLASTICS, INC., OPENS NEW DISTRIBUTION FACILITY
KALAMAZOO, MI., October 12, 2004. Total Plastics Inc., a subsidiary of A.M. Castle & Co., announced that is opening a new branch distribution center in New Jersey. Total Plastics Inc, a national plastics sheet, rod, film, tube and tapes distributor now operates 14 distribution centers throughout the United States. The new 6,000 square-foot distribution center will be able to provide same-day services for the Trenton/Hamilton areas. Accepting the role as Branch Manager is Irwin Edelson. Irwin has 30 years sales and management experience in the plastic distribution business.
“The New Jersey opening is very exciting for us,” said Tom Garrett, President of Total Plastics Inc. “We have been servicing our customers in this area for some time and the continued growth supports a physical presence there. Strategically, this location fits right into our aggressive market expansion plan, and our continued commitment to service the customer.
