| Feb 23, 2007 — Dwyer Instruments Inc., announces the release of its Series WD2 Water Leak Detector to detect leaking water and sound an alarm before the leak turns into a costly mess. The WD2 relies on the electrical conductivity of water to change the resistance across the two contacts located at the base of the enclosure. When there is enough water to bridge these contacts, the resistance changes and triggers an alarm. Low cost and easy to use; simply place it on a flat surface under HVAC equipment, dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, compressors, electrical switchgear rooms, and other potential leakage area!
The Series WD2 is available with battery or line powered, 24VAC/DC. Unit features SSR and SPDT relay output on selected models. Price starting at $15.50 list each.
Dwyer Instruments, Inc. produces a broad range of measuring and control instruments for pressure, temperature, level, flow, and many other related applications.
