Ball Screw Repair Companies
Ball screw repair process is a sequence of steps commencing with the visual inspection of the screw for wear as well as a total indication run out. The screw is then disassembled followed by re-grinding of the screws, if necessary, with the screw being re-lapped and polished in the subsequent steps. The nuts are re-ground or substituted if necessary. The nuts are then examined for straightness followed by an inspection of bearing journals. A hard chrome plate is ground and re-ground to attain finish sizes. The elements are assembled again with large chrome steel balls as a compensation for backlash. The screw is finally tested for the correct amount of torque.
