Electrochemical Machining Companies
Electro Chemical Machining services is a mode of metal machining using electrolysis techniques, purported for etching or creating unstressed, high-precision parts. A pre-shaped tool induced with reverse of the required detail, is introduced as cathode while the actual work piece is installed as the anode. A direct current of low voltage and high amperage is passed between the work piece and tool. Metal at the anode's surface gets ionized and the tool is gradually descended while maintaining its distance from the work piece constant. ECM is used for etching and milling of numerous components including exotic metals and alloys, silicon, ferrous and nonferrous metals, quartz, glass and stone.

Voxel Innovations Inc. (Raleigh, NC)
Contract Manufacturer Our Electrochemical Machining (ECM) and Pulsed Electrochemical Machining (PECM) capabilities allow us to achieve surface finishes <0.1 um Ra (<4 uin Ra) and repeat-ability of key features <10um (.0004"). With our non-contact, non-thermal process we can achieve very small features with negligible tool wear leading to high repeat-ability and consistency in volume production. Primarily Serving: Cary, NC - Durham, NC - Chapel Hill, NC - Burlington, NC |
