Fume Hood Manufacturers
Fume hoods are laboratory workspaces employed to absorb and eliminate air of objectionable organic vapors, which can be irritating or hazardous to workforce exposed to them. The hood can be either a ducted or re-circulating type. The principle involved in either type, however, is similar - air is drawn in via a fan, and is either ejected from the workplace, or is purified by filtration and re-fed into the room. Though made of timber earlier, the modern hoods are made of epoxy-coated mild steel. These hoods are available in customized sizes to suit different laboratories and workstations.
