Plastic welding refers to any welding process that is used to join two or more sections of plastic. The most common method, and one of the primary processes of joining plastic sections, is by heat sealing, which can be accomplished with different techniques. Some of the heat-sealing methods used for joining plastic are contact welding, ultrasonic welding, laser welding, and hot gas welding.
