Self-Piercing Screw Manufacturers
A self piercing screw is a type of externally threaded screw fastener that has an extra sharp point for piercing thin sheet metal, removing the need for any pre-drilled holes. When these types of screws are used to pierce thin metal, a sleeve forms in the sheet metal within which the screw creates its own internal mating threads, while being driven into the material. Self-piercing screws are commonly used for attaching rigid materials to thin sheet metal.
