| | Bakersfield Tank Company was incorporated in 1980 and has been since that time continuously engaged in the design and fabrication of a variety of welded steel tanks, vessels and other fabricated steel products. We have served virtually all of the major oil companies operating in California over the last twenty years. These have included Chevron, Shell, Arco, Exxon, Mobil, Texaco, and Unocal as well as the now merged corporations of Gulf, Tenneco, and Getty. We have coordinated and worked extensively with the engineering staffs of these companies as well as major engineering concerns including Bechtel, Fluor Daniel, Duke Energy, and Babcock & Wilcox. Products provided to these companies were designed, fabricated, inspected and tested in accordance with nationally recognized specifications such as A.P.I. 650, 620, 12F, and ASME code Sec.VIII Div. 1. Many projects ranged in sizes between 50 to 1500 barrels. | |
