| | Bulbtronics was founded in 1976 as a supplier of hard-to-find automotive bulbs. Over the years, product lines were added that augment and compliment each other, making Bulbtronics a leading distributor of bulbs, batteries and related products to medical, industrial, graphic arts, entertainment, general lighting, transportation and scientific markets. To service customers, Bulbtronics maintains four stcking locations staffed with Technical Sales representatives who work with distributors, end-users and equipment manufacturers to identify and supply the right bulb, battery or lighting product for the application. Our goal is to put our buying power and preferred vendor relationships to work for our customers and to provide a choice of quality products from a single source.
Our OEM department offers technical assistance in selecting lamps and batteries for new or re-engineered products. We also help in developing new light sources, batteries and battery packs for specialized applications. Bulbtroncis stocks foreign approved components with VDE, CE, CSA and other worldwide approvals.
We stock branded and generic lamp types from Osram Sylvania, GE, Philips, and others, for all applications ranging from warehouse lighting to microscopes. In addition, we carry ballasts sockets, transformers, starters, extenders, receptacles, tools, flashlights, professional two-way radios, standard and decorative fixtures, exit signs and emergency lighting.
Batteries were added to our product offerings a few years ago. Now we are one of the largest stocking distributors of carbon zinc, heavy duty, alkaline, NiCad, nickel metal hydride, lithium, lithium ion, sealed lead acid, and any standard or hard-to-find battery for all applications. We source and distribute from all well known quality manufacturers such as Duracell, Eveready, Sanyo, Saft, Motorola, Panasonic, Yuasa, Powersonic and Rayovac.
