| | Electromagnetic pumps for molten metal transfer. Molten Aluminum & Zinc can be pumped with our pumps. The pumps are extensively used for precise, controlled, non-turbulent filling of molds in the foundry industry. The typical application of transfer is a low pressure filling of molds or via gravity. The pumps are also used for general molten metal transfer for example, zinc plating or circulation.
These pumps are a non-positive displacement type with no moving parts. All molten metal contact is ceramic which is non-wetting to agressive Aluminum. The pumps have optional filtration systems to filter all of the metal that travels through the pump. Heated launders (tubing) keep the metal from solidifying in between filling intervals.
State of the art controls are able to store many different fill profiles, keep operators fully informed and parallel systems running to full production capabilities.
