About Compactors Inc.: |
Founded in 1987, Compactors, Inc. is headquartered on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Before the formation of Compactors, Inc., the principals were heavily involved in the oil industry, primarily in the supply of off-shore production equipment, tubulars, supplies and compactors for operations in the Gulf of Mexico and throughout the world. Initially, Compactors Inc. concentrated its efforts on the marketing of waste compaction equipment and systems. However, as new environmental solid waste regulations were implemented and the recycling of paper, glass, aluminum, metal and plastic became feasible, and sometimes mandatory, our commercial volume reduction product line was expanded to include equipment and systems such as vertical trash compactors, chute fed trash compactors, trash compactor bags, densifiers, shredders, aluminum can crushers, aerosol can crushers, drum crusher and packer, paint can crushers, glass crushers, balers and waste reduction accessories. Today, Compactors Inc. is recognized as a world leader in the fields of solid waste volume reduction and pre-recycling processing. Compactors Inc's equipment and systems are in use throughout the world. Compactors Inc. has expanded its commercial volume reduction operations into foreign markets by establishing relationships with foreign business entities who are actively involved in their nations (or regions) business community. Compactors Inc. has come full circle and today offers the latest in waste/recycling/volume reduction equipment, i.e. compactors, glass crushers and shredders for the oil platforms, oil rigs, tankers and cruise ships. Compactors Inc. represents the leading designers, engineers and manufacturers to provide state-of-the-art compaction and pre-recycling equipment and systems. Compactors Inc. strictly adheres to the following criteria: 1. Total state-of-the-art technology and methodology. 2. Unsurpassed quality, top performance, and reliability. 3. Simple operation, easy training, and minimal maintenance. Commercial volume reduction, recycling and environmental-protection products and systems will become increasingly attractive and necessary throughout the world. Compactors Inc. is committed to securing and maintaining its position of leadership as a primary supplier of the best available methodology and technology in these markets as various needs and opportunities emerge. |
