| | Differential Pressure Plus manufactures a complete line of differential pressure gauges which are often used for fluid flow metering. When used with an orfice of any type, the gauge can be calibrated with a square root scale, to display volumetric liquid flowrates as a function of the differentail pressure. Any flow units may be specified, from ml/hr to gallons/second, once the calibration point is given, which is often the differential pressure at the maximum flowrate, ie. if your orifice creates a 10.0 psid at 20 gpm, then we would supply our 10 psid gauge with a square root relationship with pressure based on the fact that the flowrate is proportional to the square root of the pressure drop. | |
