Capability:
Using advanced equipment, Du-Co has a ceramic plant capable of producing both millions of small parts per day and larger ceramic shapes - pressed parts up to 3-1/2" in diameter, and extruded shapes up to 2-1/2" in diameter. With this capability, Du-Co can serve both the high volume-low cost applications and the special usages involving the larger parts, while keeping our products competitive. Du-Co's processes include dry pressing, extrusion, secondary machining, glazing and both centerless and flat grinding. Du-Co has the finest equipment, enabling us to produce high-quality ceramics at competitive prices, in the quantities you require.
S. P. C. (Statistical Process Control):
Du-Co has always recognized the importance of controlling the process as a means of assuring a quality end product. Critical control variables through the entire manufacturing process have been identified from the raw material testing through the firing operation. The Quality Control Team monitors the production through the aid of a computer interfaced data collection system providing all required statistical charting and analysis.
