About EBway Corporation: |
EBway Corporation, a licensee of the GRIPflow Stamping Process and located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a leader of stamping technology for the past 50 years. GRIPflow is a U.S. developed stamping process that is an economical alternative to fineblanking and obsoletes many secondary machining operations, such as: drilling, reaming, countersinking, counterboring, broaching, shaving, milling and straightening. The GRIPflow Stampings are produced utilizing a combination of press and tooling with remarkable results. Holes with diameters 35% of the material thickness and web sections as small 30% of the material thickness have been achieved with materials up to 0.500 inches thick. Typical GRIPflow parts are characterized by smooth, straight-edges and consistent high accuracy's (tolerances to 0.0005" and flatness to 0.001" per linear inch have been achieved) allowing print tolerances out of the die. GRIPflow is a metal stamping process and should not be confused with the extrusion process of fineblanking. The GRIPflow high speed hydraulic press features: Variable shut height, Adjustable stroke, Adjustable tonnage, Full tonnage rating at any point in the stroke, Tool safety, Programmable logic controller and the ability to utilize both GRIPflow tooling and Conventional tooling. When the press is in the GRIPflow mode there is no shock or vibration from the blanking operation --- the presses are normally mounted on a standard six (6) inch concrete floor. Stampings are produced at a rate of 10-60 parts per minute with a 1-Out die. High production runs may require 2-Out, 3-Out, etc. in order to be competitive - this will be reviewed case by case. Full production runs and/or turn-key work cells are available upon request from Terry Walker at: EBway Corporation 6750 NW 21 Avenue Ft.
