| | Since 1978, EGC Enterprises has been designing and fabricating gaskets, seals and packing products for high-temperature applications in a broad range of markets and indudstries. These engineered solutions include sealing products for valves, pumps and flange connections used in power generation, petrochemical and refining facilities, seals and gaskets for aircraft engine and aerospace componentry, and seals and gaskets for heavy truck and automotive engines. Using Thermafoil flexible graphite and various metals, EGC creates engineered sealing solutions for static and dynamic applications with operating environments ranging in temperature from cryogenic to over 2000°F, and pressures to 10,000 psi. Our composite seal and gasket designs offer excellent resilience and thermal conductivity, and extremely low creep. EGC TriClad and TriClad Xtra o-rings, seals and gaskets use Thermafoil core jacketed by thin metal foil. The Thermafoil acts as an internal spring to ensure sealing throughout thermal cycles, and allows the metal foil to conform to sealing surfaces. Thermabraid is a full line of flexible graphite packing used in a range of valve stem and pump shaft packing systems, as well as exhaust systems seals. ThermaWorks RCG resilient core gaskets are an excellent alternative to spiral wound and corrugated gaskets. Their patented unique spring-action core allows sealing with only a fraction of the load required by standard gaskets. EGC pressure seals are an excellent alternative for metal pressure rings in control valve bonnets. EGC pressure seals require only a fraction of the load-to-seal as metal rings, easily conform to rough surfaces and are removed and installed in a fraction of the time required for metal seals. EGC H-Seals developed for ring-joint flanges, provide improved sealing and easier installation than coated metal RTJ rings. In addition to our wide range of severe-service sealing products, EGC offers Rotabolt tension control, load-monitoring bolts and studs that allow you to achieve and maintain the tension on critical bolted joints to within 5% of design clamp load. EGC's QFoil graphite heaters provide extremely rapid thermal response and even heating in a thin and flexible element. Thermafoil TIM thermal interface materials assist in all types of heat transfer applications and are much easier to apply than thermal pastes, greases and phase change pads. Thermafoil TIM can be used to assist existing heating elements provide improved temperature uniformity, and can also be used with heat sinks to improve the efficiency of heat transfer away from applications.
