Trims and stampings are manufactured in steel, brass, copper, aluminum and other materials. Nearly 85% of the product line is in stock in steel for same day/next day shipping.
The metal trims are produced in rolls or coils, each roll containing, on average, between 250-350 linear feet. A full fabricating facility is available for your use and the trims can be cut-to-length, bent, notched, have holes punched, shaped, channeled, etc., for an additional cost (to be quoted per your specifications).
Depending on the material ordered and the substrate the material is being applied to, the items are easily attachable by a variety of methods, including commercially available epoxies, glues, high-bond double-stick tape, finishing nails and screws, spot-, MIG- and TIG-welding, brazing and soldering.
The product takes oil-based paint and powder-coating beautifully after a wipe-down with a clean cloth and lacquer thinner and application of an oil based primer. (Follow your paint supplier's recommendations for preparing, priming and top-coating the material chosen.) If you wish to enjoy the natural bright color of the original material, all you need do is finish the item with a clear lacquer or oil-based polyurethane varnish. The trims and stampings can also be plated in a variety of metallic finishes.
