| | Hi-tech, Inc., a small Rhode Island-based stamping company, has made a big splash with the fabrication of millions of stamped parts since being founded in 1981. The early days brought us extensive work in connector and switch components, but as many local manufacturers learned in 2001, we had to reinvent ourselves just to keep pace.
Our primary growth since that time stems from medical applications. In addition to ISO 9001:9008 certification, we have obtained ISO 13485:2003 specialized for medical manufacturing.
Since 2012, we have been a woman-owned business, when sadly Judy Lavin’s husband and business partner passed away suddenly.
Today, our primary endeavor is to design, build and run progressive stamping dies forautomotive, electronic, electrical, and medical applications. In addition, we offer R&D prototyping, manual part forming and single source responsibility for many secondary part services, such as plating, passivating, harperizing.
