About International Metals and Chemicals: |
THE COMBINED TALENT OF OUR PEOPLE, AN UNRIVALED COMMITMENT BY OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM AND FACILITIES WHICH MEET THE HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS OF OUR CUSTOMERS. STILL THE WORLD'S LARGEST ANODE PRODUCTION FACILITY The IMC production facility is a 165,000 square foot production plant acquired from British Petroleum in 1990 and handles virtually all of the metals and chemicals output of the company. With this retooling of the plant, IMC acquired four casting lines which are vertical upward casting systems and are the world's fastest and hence, the most economical. Twenty-seven patents protect the systems worldwide. Within the IMC production facility is a chemicals production site, or a metals based chemicals plant, with products largely in the metallic salts category. This site was built from the ground up and exceeds government environmental standards in its construction. The site houses the world most modern Nickel Sulfamate production line. METALSAMERICA produces copper, brass, tin and nickel anodes -our core metals products. Copper is available in a range of alloys, physical forms and sizes including nuggets, balls (ANVEXtm), and bars. Brass products are available in the same sizes and shapes. Nickel is offered in the traditional forms. Items can be manufactured to unique customer specifications. AMERICHEM chemicals, metallic salts and solutions are produced by PPBTechnologies, a solely owned subsidiary of IMC, and shares its facilities with METALSAMERICA. Salts of copper, cobalt, nickel, and tin are among the products included in the product line. IMC DISTRIBUTION has identified the attributes of delivering products and services as a single source to consumers. IMC Distribution handles products, both metals and chemicals, that may not be physically produced at our production unit in North Carolina, but which are manufactured to IMC's stringent standards and specifications. Included in this product line are tin-lead solder alloy anodes, zinc and other various alloy anodes as well as chemicals in solids, pastes and solutions. |
