| Lakeland Plastics was founded in 1962 and has been making top quality, competitively priced plastic extrusions ever since. We have been on the cutting edge of plastic extrusion for decades, with the ability to extrude profiles up to 20" wide, dual and tri extrusions, full fabrication capability and JIT and SQC capability as well. In-House Tool Making: With a state of the art 4 axis wire EDM machine and a new CNC vertical machining center Lakeland's AutoCad engineers can design and manufacture your tool with exacting precision in the shortest leadtime. Tool changes and corrections can thus also be done quickly and efficiently. Thermoplastic Materials: Lakeland extrudes all thermoplastic materials; rigids, semi-rigids, flexibles. We can even extrude tough to process materials like Nylon, CPVC, Polycarbonate and Acrylic. Profile, Tubing and Crosshead Coatings Lakeland has the ability to extrude and endless variety of profiles; multi-hollows, widths up to 20", lengths up to 20' in rigids. We can also do tubings in flexibles and rigids from 1/16" up to 6" with tooling available for many sizes. A special niche for Lakeland since it's inception has been the ability to cross-head coat a variety of materials such as steel and aluminum tubing, wooden dowels, chain, cable, rope etc. If your project takes an extrusion, chances are Lakeland can get it done for you! In-Line and Secondary Fabrication With our in-line automated machinery we can perform a variety of secondary operations right in-line at no cost to you. Operations such as punching, drilling, notching, taping, printing and embossing are done with PLC controlled equipment that can guarantee the accuracy your part may demand.
