| | MPF was started in 1994 by Art and Dale Dunton. The Dunton family initially formed Insulator Seal Incorporated (ISI) in the early 70's. The business and technology continued to grow and led MDC Vacuum Products Corporation to purchase ISI in the early 1980's. After years of continuing to operate the business for MDC, the Dunton's started a new company, MPF Products, Inc. MPF first served the aerospace industry with precision igniter systems for jet aircraft. After 6 successful years, MPF expanded the business back into vacuum and optical components sector.
Art and his two sons, Dale and David, have accumulated over 100 years of experience between them in designing and manufacturing of ceramic to metal seals for UHV feedthroughs, viewports and other vacuum related components.
