| | Penn Central Spring Corporation (PCS) is celebrating more than 42 years of service to the garage door industry. Since its purchase in 1967 from Clarence Viegel (the father of spring engineering) by the Pagliaro brothers, PCS has been a quality manufacturer of garage door springs and accessories. In 2004, Barry Pagliaro took over sole ownership of the company and hired Allison Mancuso as vice president to complement the dedicated staff of John Pressley, 37 years of service, and Timothy O'Donnell, 33 years. In the past 5 years, PCS has upgraded every aspect of its operations in order to become more efficient and timely.
Penn Central carries just about anything needed for installation or repair while keeping true to its core expertise of spring manufacturing. PCS makes torsion, extension, Crawford springs, dock levelers, repair rolling steel tubes and even truck door springs. With more than 100 years of combined experience, not just in the manufacturing of the springs, but also in installation and repair. Penn Central's dedicated staff makes it a point to get to the bottom of a problem for our customers in the field. Present day, Penn Central shares a 75,000 sq.-ft.-plant with its sister company, Alto Garage Door.
