.jpg) | Product Description Penn Stainless stocks a full range of stainless round bar from 1/16” round thru 24” in diameter. Nearly all grades of stainless steel are stocked in round bar, including 302, 303, 304, 304/L, 304H, 309/S, 310/S, 316/L, 317/L, 321, 321/H, 347, 347H, 410, 416, 420, 440C, 17-4PH, Duplex 2205 and Alloy 20. Heat treated stainless round bars are stocked in 17-4PH, conditions H900, H1125, H1150 and Double H1150. Additional heat treated conditions can be produced upon request. In 400 series stainless, we stock 410HT and 416HT. We also stock Accuracy and Bearing Quality stainless round bar in 303, 304 & 316/L. Much of our inventory is stocked in our proprietary grade of machining bar: PENNMET 2000. PENMET stainless rounds are melted to consistent standards to improve machine ability and reduce the overall cost per part. Our stainless bar processing equipments enables Penn Stainless to produce to our customer's precise requirements. All stainless round bar can be cut to size. We supply common grades of stainless such as 304/304L and 316/316L in standard tube sizes and wall thicknesses. We can also supply more challenging stainless and nickel seamless tubing in 304H, 309/S, 310/S, 317/L, 321H, 347H, Alloy 20, Duplex 2205, Duplex 2507, Alloy 200/201, C276, Alloy 400, Alloy 600, Alloy 625, Alloy 800H, Alloy 800HT, 254SMO, AL6XN and others. We also supply seamless stainless hollow bar for machining applications with wall thicknesses in excess of 2” for some stainless grades. .jpg) | GENERAL PROPERTIES Alloy 330 is an austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy that has outstanding resistance to oxidation and carburization up to 2200°F with high strength. The excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization is provided by the high nickel and chromium content of the alloy, further enhanced by its silicon content. Alloy 330’s ultra high nickel content of 34 to 37% also provides high resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and embrittlement from the precipitation of sigma phase in most furnace atmospheres.
