| "Polymerstroy 18" is an engineering company located in Izhevsk, Russia and specializing in design and manufacture of equipment for polymer-sand industry. Polymer-sand production is based on an innovative technology which we have been improving and introducing to the market over the last years. It is a salvage technology aimed at manufacture of exterior covering items for the residential and commercial application of polymer waste. It is becoming increasingly popular and widespread all over the world due to the outstanding performances of the final products such as visual appeal, durabilty, light weight and relatively low cost. The core of the manufacturing process can be reduced to the following: shredding or crushing of polymer waste, mixing it with the sand (or mineral processing rejects), adding the needed dye, heat treatment and extrusion of the composite, shaping the final product in a press, cooling the item. We offer a wide range of equipment to perform these operations. Depending on the customer's choice we can provide expert solutions to the various technical tasks and supply reliable machine lines that will guaranty a sustainable and profitable business. The equipment complete set includes: - crusher to grind waste plastics (both hard and soft film plastics) into uniform pieces; - mixer to prepare an indiscrete compound of binder (polymer) and filler (sand / ground glass / mineral rejects); - extruder to heat the compound, melt the polymeric binder, mix and stick together the components; - hydraulic press and press-mold to compact and shape the mixture into the final product; - auxiliary machines such as sand dryers, chillers, agglomerators and granulators, spoiled units crushers. The above equipment is available in various executions. It can be fully automatized upon customer's request.
