| PTK was incorporated in year 1977 for the manufacturer of HSS Circular Saws, under the proprietorship of Sh.P.S.Gupta – B.Tech (Hons)- a Powai graduate. The Unit was established in a very small way with the purpose of making HSS Slitting Saws only. The unit, later made forays in the Tube Mill Toolings like Rolls, Fins & Tube Cutting Saws, In the year 1982, Sh.Vinod Goyal-M.Sc – (Hons) took over from his uncle Sh. P.S.Gupta and made rapid strides in the business and started making the Cold Rolling Mills Rolls and Strips Processing Toolings. In the year 1994, the unit purchased to very different machines – 1. Vertical Band Saw Machines-able to cut 1 Mtr. Dia Alloy Steel 2. Horizontal Band Saw of Behringer - West Germany – Rs.35 Lacs We were very regularly cutting HDS Blocks of Sunbeam Casting on these machines and herein only we came into contact with Mr. Prem Sadhu . Mr. Sadhu inspired us to make Toolings PDC Industry too and we started making Sleeves for them. In the year 1999, we acquired ESR Facility started making ESR grade Steels in HSS- M-2, M-35, M-42 & T-4 Grade. 1. COLD WORKING DIE STEELS 2. HDS – in H-11 Grade 3. DS – in D-2 & D-3 grades TECHNICAL TEAM Sh. T.K. Guha - B.E. Metallurgy - These days on family visit to U.S Sh. Vinod Goyal – M.Sc- Proprietor Skilled Work Force - 11 Nos Unskilled Work Force 10/11 Nos PRODUCTS - MIX 1. Strips Processing Tools _ Rolling Mill Rolls, Slitters, Spacers 2. Tube Mill Tooling - Forming Rolls & Tube Cutting Saws 3. PDC Industry Toolings - HDS Block of ESR Grade H-11, Shot Sleeves. HDS Inserts of low thickness are also processed. |
