| S. P. Kinney Engineers was started as a business venture in 1941 by Mr. S. P. Kinney and was incorporated in 1945. S. P. Kinney was a graduate of the University of Utah in 1915 - IRON (Metallurgy), B.S. (Chemical Engineering). He was a member of several engineering associations and recipient of many awards for his contributions to the iron and steel industries and his extensive experimental studies with the U.S. Bureau of Mines.
The Team The company's activities consist of sales, engineering, manufacturing and field service. Kinney's world headquarters is located in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, with plants in Carnegie, Pennsylvania and Colonial Heights, Virginia.
S.P.Kinney has a selection of strainers ranging from 2" to 48". Suitable for fresh water, salt water, white water(paper) or ammoniacal liquor. A large variety of straining media is available for every conceivable application. We have over 5,000 successful installations worldwide.
