| Sylvan Corporation manufactures a line of cold-light fiberoptic transilluminators for use in the NICU as well was the entire patient population in the hospital. Sylvan's Pediascan® products are specifically designed for transillumination in neonates which will safely find veins fast without any heat build up at the tip. The Maxiscan® can be used on patients throughout the hospital and has been proven to be an indispensible tool for IV site location. The infrared and ultraviolet light is masked out giving the user intense bright white light, which is essential for transillumination. All of our products utilize the latest generation of rechargeable batteries and are built with the finest materials for many years of use in the department. |
