The company was launched in 1948 and got its start in thermforming plastic refrigerator components for the refrigerator company now known as Frigidaire. During the 1960s, T.O. Plastics launched its proprietary line of wholesale plant pots, plant trays, liner trays and plug trays for the horticulture industry.
