| Versatile Engineering specializes in manufacturing small, accurate progressive die stampings, typically used for electrical contacts. Our facilities are comprised of three buildings, providing a total of 35,000 square feet. Two buildings (11,000 sq. ft.) are dedicated for designing, manufacturing and maintaining dies and fixtures. All tool maintenance is done free of charge for customer owned dies that are built by Versatile and stored on the premises. Custom built tooling is designed to produce accurate parts, consistently, and is guaranteed for the life of the program. The third building (24,000 sq. feet) is reserved for office space, production and quality control.
Versatile prides itself on supplying quality parts to its customers. We are currently certified to ISO 9000:2000 and have been certified to ISO 9000 since 1996. Our production facility features over 25 Bruderer precision high speed presses and Nilson 4-slide machines. This combination provides a diverse capability for making stampings and wire forms. Reliable 30 ton Bruderer 3 post presses are used when parts require significant forming or are used to produce bandoleer pins. Parts requiring less forming are produced using high speed, four post, 22 ton presses. Heavier gage requirements are produced on our 45 ton machines.
The tool room features Agie EDM's and precision surface grinders. Versatile provides "state of the art" quality stampings by continuously updating equipment and machines. After 30 years of producing high quality precision parts and delivering them on time, Versatile Engineering has earned an envied reputation for providing complete customer satisfaction. | |
