Wisconsin Label Corporation (WLGroup) recently merged with Superior Label Systems, Inc. to form WS Packaging Group Inc. Superior Label, founded in 1970 and the 1998 winner of its industry's "Best Managed Company" award, is also an industry leader in pressure sensitive labels and custom designed application equipment. With this merger, WS Packaging Group has become one of the top five label and tag manufacturers in the United States. A further expansion of WS Packaging Group included the acquisition of the three facilities of Label Art, Inc., bringing the total of manufacturing facilities to 18 with over 1,500 employees.
