CHAIN/SLAT/ROLLER FLIGHT/FIXTURE
Webb-Stiles designs and builds a wide variety of Chain Conveyors. Multistrand Chain Conveyors are used in all types of manufacturing, assembly and material handling. The most common Chain Conveyors are: Drag Chain, where the chain is in frictional contact with the track and the load rides on the chain, this is only good for light loads and short distances. Rolling Chain, where roller friction is used either in the chain roller supporting the load, or a Block chain supported on rollers. The Pusher type chain that does not support the load, but propels it either on a slider or roller bed.
The most common chain conveyors built are slat, roller flight, chain and fixture. Webb-Stiles chain conveyors are all custom engineered to the job. | |
