| The company was founded over 28 years ago as a precision fabricator of aluminum extruded products. Initially located in Whitehall, Michigan, the company expanded with a second facility in Ludington in 1980. In 1992, the company consolidated operations to the Ludington site. Whitehall has worked closely with various extruders through the years with circle sizes ranging from 2 to 14 inches. Through this involvement with suppliers and as a hands-on supplier of fabricated extrusion products, Whitehall personnel have developed an intimate knowledge of the extrusion process and the factors that influence profile tolerances. Our fabrication facility is a 72,000 square foot building with over 30 CNC machining centers, various punch presses, precision saws, sophisticated drilling/tapping equipment, and quality measuring instruments. Many of the markets we serve require products with exacting twist, shape and form. In August 2001, a spacious 55,000 square foot facility to house a new extrusion press line was completed. With plenty of room to grow, the building was designed to be doubled in size to add a second extrusion press line. We have made a commitment within our company and industry by investing in the latest technology, equipment, and employee training. This investment will position our company to meet or exceed the requirements of our quality-conscious customers. Quality and Continuous Improvement are a way of life for every employee at Whitehall Industries. | |
