NAM’s Council of Manufacturing Associations Recognizes ISA’s Anderson with Annual Leadership Award

Company Head Has Worked Tirelessly Advancing Manufacturing Agenda
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) announced that International Sign Association (ISA) President and CEO Lori Anderson has been awarded the Council of Manufacturing Associations’ (CMA) annual Leadership Award.
The Leadership Award was created in 2001 and is given annually to the chief staff officer who has done the most to further the CMA’s mission. The recipient is selected by the CMA chair and is honored at the annual Winter Leadership Conference.
“Lori is truly deserving of this award,” said ISA Chairman of the Board Chad Jones. “Her strong leadership has helped our association and the on-premise sign and visual communications industry become active participants in the NAM and many of its programs. We know how valuable she is, and it is exciting to see her recognized with this prestigious award.”
“The success of an association depends largely on the involvement of its members,” said NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons. “Because of organizations like the ISA, the CMA has had another successful year in advancing the manufacturing agenda. Under Lori’s leadership, the ISA is setting a great example for manufacturers, most recently hosting numerous events throughout the country on Manufacturing Day to engage the public and help develop manufacturing leaders of the future. The NAM thanks Lori for her efforts and congratulates her on this well-deserved recognition.”
The CMA is a vital component of the NAM, made up of nearly 240 industry-specific manufacturing associations that provide resources and networks to members to broaden the reach of the NAM’s advocacy efforts.
