Feb 6, 2014 — Gowanda, NY (USA) - Gowanda Electronics achieved QPL status on four series: MLRF10M, MLRF15M, MLRF18M and MLRF17S. These Gowanda series meet the military’s Qualified Product List (QPL) requirement for military spec MIL-PRF-15305. They also expand the company’s QPL-approved product line and demonstrate Gowanda’s ongoing commitment to the development and introduction of QPL products that address the needs of the military and aerospace markets. These new wirewound, molded, thru-hole, RF inductors are designed for radio frequency applications in military, aerospace and defense communities. This includes use in communication, guidance and security applications, as well as in radar, test & evaluation and special mission applications. The shielded MLRF17S series is used specifically in applications where the close proximity of circuit board components requires the inductor to be shielded to minimize interactions and ensure performance of the overall system. Technical parameters of all four series are outlined below. MLRF10M is approved for MIL-PRF-15305 Military Part Numbers MS75083 (Phenolic core), MS75084 (Iron core), and MS75085 (Ferrite core). Performance includes: Inductance from 0.10 to 1000 µH; Q Min from 25 to 55; SRF MHz Min from 3.40 to 680; DCR Ohms Max from 0.08 to 72 and Current Rating DC mA from 28 to 1350. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C for MS75083; -55°C to +105°C for MS75084 and MS75085. MLRF15M is approved for MIL-PRF-15305 Military Part Numbers MS18130 (Phenolic core), MS14046 (Iron core), and MS90538 (Iron core). Performance includes: Inductance from 0.15 to 240 µH; Q Min from 33 to 75; SRF MHz Min from 5.9 to 525; DCR Ohms Max from 0.03 to 7.80 and Current Rating DC mA from 101 to 2450. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C for MS18130; -55°C to +105°C for MS14046 and MS90538. MLRF18M is approved for MIL-PRF-15305 Military Part Numbers MS75008 (Phenolic core) and MS75101 (Iron core). Performance includes: Inductance from 0.15 to 27 µH; Q Min from 30 to 65; SRF MHz Min from 22 to 510; DCR Ohms Max from 0.03 to 2.75 and Current Rating DC mA from 205 to 3000. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C for MS75008; -55°C to +105°C for MS75101. MLRF17S is approved for MIL-PRF-15305 Military Part Numbers MS75087 (Phenolic core/Iron shield), MS75088 (Iron core/Iron shield) and MS75089 (Ferrite core/Ferrite shield). Performance includes: Inductance from 0.10 to 1000 µH; Q Min from 40 to 60; SRF MHz Min from 3.8 to 250; DCR Ohms Max from 0.025 to 17.5 and Current Rating DC mA from 70 to 1790. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C for the series. | ||
