| Jun 15, 2010 — SCHUNK has expanded its compact class, the 2-Finger-Parallel Gripper type JGP and the 3-Finger-Centric gripper type JGZ with the sizes 200, 240, and 300. All the modules are equipped with a powerful pneumatic oval piston drive and together with the compact dimensions, achieve excellent power density. The integrated jaw guidance is a rigid T-slot that ensures a precise and fail-safe handling of your application. Therefore these grippers are suitable for many standard tasks in industrial automation and offer all essential functions in a cost-effective package. Due to the compact design, the JGP and JGZ can be also used where limited space is available.
By using standard inductive proximity switches or magnetic C-slot switches from SCHUNK, the grippers can be easily and reliably controlled. Force-measuring jaws, analog and magnetic positioning sensors, and jaw blanks increase the options for the user.
