Ultra Miniature Isolated Triaxial Accelerometers, 3133M Series

Press Release:
Jan 11, 2012 — Chatsworth, California, USA – Dytran Instruments, Inc. (www.dytran.com) a leading manufacturer of piezoelectric and DC MEMS accelerometers, force and pressure transducers and associated electronics, has introduced the 3133M series, a family of ultra-miniature IEPE triaxial accelerometers, weighing just 0.9 grams. The 3133M series was designed to mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers.

Available in three different models, with choice of 2, 5 or 10 mV/g sensitivity, design of the Dytran 3133M series incorporates shear sensing elements with integral electronics, packaged in a robust, lightweight, welded titanium cube, with a three-foot integral cable terminating to a 4-pin connector and adhesive mounting capabilities. The cable is designed to mate with several different types of Dytran extension cables. Units are case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

These ultra-miniature triaxial sensors are capable of operating at temperatures up to +300°F (+149°C). Series model 3133M4 is the world's smallest isolated triaxial accelerometer with 10 mV/g sensitivity.
