O Ring Manufacturers
An O ring is a torus or donut-shaped mechanical seal used to prevent the flow or leakage of fluids between two mating surfaces. Produced from different natural and synthetic elastomers, including Buna-N, Viton®, and silicone rubber, O-rings have circular cross sections. These seals are normally seated in a groove or cavity and their sealing action is achieved by the force of compression of the two mating surfaces on the seal as well as the liquid pressure acting on it.
