A deep drawn enclosure is essentially a seamless metal component used as housing for mechanical and electronic components. Deep drawn enclosures are fabricated into the desired cross-sectional shape by deep drawing sheet metal blanks. These enclosures have found uses as RF shields, relay covers, assembly housings, as well as covers and housings for a variety of components. Deep drawn enclosures are fabricated from a number of metals, including cold-rolled steel (CRS), stainless steel, aluminum, and brass.

Diaphragm pumps employ a single diaphragm in a chamber to move liquids. The liquids are moved by the displacement resulting from the movement of the diaphragm. The diaphragm itself is moved by a piston, either through a direct attachment or through a hydraulic connection. One-way valves insure the positive flow of the liquid. These pumps are quite often found in industrial applications.

Micron diamond, cubic boron nitride, and polycrystalline diamond are employed as abrasives today. These extremely hard materials are bonded with metal, resin, vitrified and electroplated bonds and can be found in abrasive products such as grinding wheels. Each requires an abrasive with specific characteristics to match the strength of the bond and the material being machined.
